Who Made The Spring by Tom Chapman
The Earth tilts down and the world rejoices
Babies are born, more and more voices
The sun warms the surface and mocking birds sing
It was God Himself who made the Spring!
Most knew Winter and it will forever get old
But I was sun bathing while they were cold
Riding the motorcycle along warm ocean breezes
I hate to say it, but they can have their sneezes!
But now it's Spring and everyone's delight
Lovers will kiss instead of a fight
Farmers will plant and travelers will go
To anywhere that does not have the snow.
And I will rejoice in God's creation
Even a fool should see He has no limitation
Spring wipes away all the doom and gloom
Now if only men's hearts would also bloom!
